5/19 HCAS Acoustic Series Presents: Tom Tallitsch
Tom Tallitsch is a saxophonist, composer, and Posi-Tone Records artist. He has seven albums to his name and has arrived on the Jazzweek Radio Chart top 30 with his last three albums. His bands perform at jazz venues throughout the country, with regular performances on the east coast at Birdland Jazz Club, Smalls Jazz Club, Minton's Harlem, The Sidedoor Jazz Club, 55 Bar, Bar Next Door, Chris' Jazz Cafe, Paris Jazz Bistro, and others. Tom is a popular music educator in the Princeton area for jazz saxophone, clarinet, and piano students, as well as piano students on the Autism Spectrum at The Princeton Child Development Institute. Tom will be joined by double bassist Jason Fratacelli and guitarist Greg Sneider for an intimate night of acoustic jazz featuring his own original compositions, modern jazz classics, and songs from The Great American Song Book.
Jason Fratacelli is a highly sought after bassist and Ropeadope Records Artist in the Philadelphia area. He was recently featured on NPR as co-leader of the Fresh Cut Orchestra, a highly creative 10-piece ensemble that recently performed their second album release at Jazz At Lincoln Center.
Greg Snyder is a highly sought after guitarist and mainstay on the Philadelphia music scene. He has performed at the Kennedy Center, the Kimmel Center, the Midwest Jazz Clinic, the July 4th Welcome America Festival in Philadelphia, The Iridium, The Bitter End, Musikfest, and many more.
