1/29 Electronic Ambience with Mike Rabito and Friends

By layering harmonic and dissonant guitar tones through a looping device supplemented by synthesizers, Michael Rabito creates sonic atmospheres that are subtly transformational. In addition to performing with his band Manifested, he has played ambient sets at The New Jersey Festival of Electronic Arts at Grounds for Sculpture, Princeton University’s WPRB live studio, The Rotunda for UPenn’s esteemed Event Horizon series, and Evolvefest.

Performing with Dennis Quinn and other guests, this evening of electronic ambient music will be a feast for the senses as synths, washed-out guitar and spacey percussion fill the intimate atmosphere of HCAS. Fellow collaborator Ted Klett will add a visual component to the sound bath, projecting a kaleidoscopic world of color and form onto the gallery walls to enhance the visceral experience.

You can hear Michael's collaborative ambient album at and follow his band at
